St Paul’s Ladies Fellowship, Albany

Something new took us all by surprise this year: we were unable to meet due to the COVID-19 Pandemic!

Wow! Who would have thought how much we take for granted!

It was with great joy that restrictions eased, and our Fellowship was able to once again meet together; just in time to celebrate Judith Pech’s 80th birthday, on the 14th of June. We met on the 18th at the chosen venue “The Store”, this being an old favourite.

Ownership had changed, menu hiccups and the ordered flowers didn’t arrive (until the next day), but in the end none of this mattered; it was a thrill for eight of us to be able to catch up, which included our eldest member Christa Jeremic, now 89 and, God willing, soon to turn 90.

Our meetings are simply studying the Lutheran Women magazine monthly Bible Studies, prayer and currently bringing what seems like a picnic cuppa to our Church Hall.

Thanks be to God for all his love and mercies and our sisters in Christ.
