Witta Ladies, Nambour

I am a member of a little historic church at Witta, Qld, 10 kms from Maleny on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. I join with the Glasshouse Mountains Fellowship.

As we could not worship during the lockdown, and our chapel is on a main road, I decided to be a witness outside of our chapel. So, on Palm Sunday, the entry was flanked with palms. On Good Friday we draped a wooden cross in black and red. Early Sunday morning, a few of our women went out with flowers to decorate the cross and declare “Christ is Risen”. On Anzac Day we placed a wreath on the gate of the church and had a vigil at our own letter boxes.

The other photos show goods made from remnants for the Christmas boxes and birthing kits. As a retired teacher, I was also able to help my grandchildren with their home schooling. We studied the Word by means of prepared studies on Courageous Women of the Bible. These were lovingly put together by members of our Fellowships in lieu of our Retreat. There were no idle moments as we served where we were.
