LWWA President’s Report

Greetings from the Ladies of Western Australia. A wonderful 50th Anniversary of the LWWA was held in May 2019 at Bethlehem Church Morley. It was a great joy to be able to welcome ladies (and several husbands) from other states. Several past presidents of LWWA were present and assembled to cut a beautifully decorated cake. Our dear President, Roslyn Zadow, was permitted to leave her hospital bed to join in for a part of the day. Roslyn put so much of herself into this day.

Fellowship day at St Luke’s Parkwood was a great follow-up in August. This was the first event that the newly elected Executive organised. What a wonderful way to start our time together. Thanks to our Spiritual Advisor, Pastor Glenn Crouch, and our Secretary, Karen Crouch, for arranging a truly unique and engaging Bible Study. We welcomed one of the most interesting and informative guest speakers I have had the joyful blessing and honour to listen to – Maria Rudolph was given a standing ovation from all in attendance.

The 2020 Ladies Convention was to be held on the 2nd of May in Kalgoorlie. Many of us had planned to travel the almost 600 kms by car, train, or plane but, unfortunately due to COVID-19, this has had to be postponed until better times in the future. We pray that God will keep all ladies around Australia safe and well during these difficult days. The theme for Convention was to be 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to Bless you abundantly, so that in ALL things at ALL times, having ALL that you need, you will abound in every good work. I leave you with those words.

God Bless!

Ronda Hahn, President
