Our group of approximately 20 ladies meets on the third Wednesday of each month. We begin by reading the LWSA-NT prayer, having a short devotion, and a hymn is sung. Pastor Joel leads us in Bible Study, often basing it on the sermon for the coming weekend.
Some activities we’ve enjoyed recently include: parading vintage clothes; providing morning tea for other women from our congregation, getting to know our talented new office secretary; playing table games; taking part in a jovial cake auction; and giving our brains a work out through quizzes.
Our generous offerings support LWA and LWSA-NT projects. Several dedicated knitters continue to provide squares for rugs for ‘Wrap with Love’. We value social time spent over shared lunch each month. Above all, we thank and praise our heavenly Father for enabling us to continue serving him and each other.
