As 2020 draws to a close, there is little to be said about the effects of the COVID-19 virus that hasn’t already been said.
The Concordia Ladies’ Fellowship had their program thrown into disarray. In spite of that, we managed some enjoyable social distancing activities. A lunch of winter warming soup and rolls was enjoyed at Dot’s place and a spring walk was followed by lunch at Kings Park in Perth. Another informal lunch meeting was held in Kristine’s home.
Fund raising was difficult to achieve but Annelies Allen generously donated delicious homemade jams using in-season fruits which were quickly snapped up.
On a sad note, Pamela Heath (who was an editor of Lutheran Women for a few years) went to join the Lord.
The final meeting was held at the Manse, hosted by Maria and Pastor Michael Rudolph.
We wish all readers a healthy and blessed year in 2021 filled with the joy of the Lord.
