Springton Fellowship celebrated 80 years with a Thanksgiving Service on 23 June. Salisbury Women’s Fellowship
Our group of approximately 20 ladies meets on the third Wednesday of each month. We begin by reading the LWSA-NT prayer, having a short devotion, and a hymn is sung. Pastor Joel leads us in Bible Study, often basing it on the sermon for the coming weekend. Our small but enthusiastic group of ladies continues to meet on the second Tuesday of the month, usually around the kitchen table at different members’ homes. As the years roll by, so our numbers are decreasing with people entering nursing homes or passing on to their heavenly home. We currently have seven members attending our meetings. We belong to the Naracoorte combined Guilds and take part in 2 events per year: The World Day of Prayer and the Christmas Social. Each year we prepare and pack 50 birthing kits for PNG. Bordertown Women’s Fellowship
Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month with 16 members present. The yearly program has had a facelift thanks to pastor’s wife, Tracey. Members act as hostesses for meetings by providing afternoon tea, having opening devotion and lead with project prayer.
